Artist statement for Sculptures: This series of sculptures are a joining of objects found. At one time, these objects were all a part of something different and functional. In their joining, they mimic the relationship between body and psyche. As such, they meet a new end. They embody how we are built and rebuilt and how we begin and how we end. They represent the process of taking what we need; discarding what we have no use for and transforming or repurposing what we to hold onto in order to maintain our form.
